María Ñarraga Arriaga
María Ñarraga Arriaga is a Fellow in International Relations at the Elcano Royal Institute. She currently combines research with advisory roles for multilateral organizations.
She has worked as a Senior Analyst at prominent US think tanks, including the Atlantic Policy Forum and the Center for Strategic Futures, contributing to key reports on the shifting international order and emerging global security challenges.
Her academic career spans over a decade of teaching and research across European and US institutions. She has published in leading journals and led projects on preventive diplomacy, global governance, and transatlantic cooperation.
She has a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics, Master’s in Global Studies from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in International Security from Georgetown University.
