n accordance with those aspects regulated by transparency, access to public information and good governance regulations, this section sets out the Elcano Royal Institute’s information relating to its annual accounts, its most recently approved budget and the private and public funding it has received in recent years, as well as the Transparency and Good Practices Manual, the foundation’s bylaws, the Code of Good Governance, the Whistleblower channel and the Certification from Lealtad Instituciones.

The Elcano Royal Institute has obtained the Certification of Transparency and Good Practices from Lealtad/Instituciones, following an evaluation process that certifies that the Institute fully complies with the seven principles of transparency and good practices assessed: Principle of functioning and regulation of the governing body, Principle of clarity and publicity of the social purpose, Principle of planning and monitoring of activity, Principle of accountability and accurate representation of information, Principle of transparency in financing, Principle of control in the use of funds, and Principle of compliance with legal obligations.
